How to use the Playoff Simulator
The race to the IPL 2026 Playoffs is tighter than ever. Because Net Run Rate (NRR) often becomes the deciding factor when teams tie on points, we built this "What-If" engine.
1. Select Upcoming Matches
Look at the fixture list on the left. Click on the team you hypothesize will win that specific match. The button will highlight to confirm your selection.
2. Watch the Standings Shift
Every time you select a winner, the live points table on the right will instantly redistribute the 2 points and re-sort the grid. The top 4 positions are highlighted in green.
3. Qualification Scenarios
Historically, a team needs at least 16 points to guarantee a playoff spot without worrying about Net Run Rate. Teams with 14 points usually rely on other teams losing their matches to qualify.
